In 1974, The Grand County Historical Association was formed to preserve the history of Grand County's historical buildings and artifacts, including four museums:
Cozens Ranch
Emily Warner Field Aviation Museum – open in summer
Heritage Park Museum – open in the summer
Pioneer Village Museum
The association hosts several events and programs throughout the year, including local artisans, novelist talks, historical presentations, kids' programs, and more.
